Mid Century Modern "Womb" Chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll

A Womb chair by Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961) for Knoll Furniture. Upholstered in Knoll’s classic ‘Cayenne Red’ boucle fabric, this chair rests on a chrome frame with splayed legs. Chair has removable seat and back cushions. It bears Knoll Furniture’s paper tag to the underside. Originally designed in 1946 by 20th-century Finnish American architect and industrial designer, Eero Saarinen, for Knoll Furniture, these classic pieces are still in production today.
