Item Details
A pairing of vintage Venitian style machine woven tapestry panels. The horizontal panels depict period settings on a bustling Grand canal, complete with gondolas. One panel is woven in jewel tones of violet, red and blue and is marked ‘Made in Italy’ to the verso. The second panel is marked ‘Made in Belgium’, being woven in muted jewel tones.
Condition
- one panel with a minor weaving imperfection to center.
