Vintage Venitian Style Machine Woven Tapestry Panels
Item Details
A grouping of three vintage Venitian style machine woven tapestry panels. The horizontal panels are woven with muted tones, depicting period settings showing a busy Grand canal complete with gondolas and a courtyard scene under moonlight. The third panel depicts an aristocratic interior setting with figures in period clothing. The nocturnal courtyard panel is marked ‘Made in Italy’ to the verso, the remaining two panels are marked ‘Made in Belgium’.
