1940s Hyde "High Top" Leather Football Cleates
Item Details
A pair of adult-sized 1947-1948 leather ‘high top’ football cleats. Manufactured by Hyde which is embroidered on the inside of each cleat, the football shoes are stamped ‘Goodyear Welt’ on the underneath. The original black shoes laces are retained. Each shoe has hard durable rubber cleats attached to the bottoms. There is a US Patent #2412788’ stamped on each shoe. This vintage pair of athletic wear has no size label or stamping and are made of a soft black leather.

Condition
The cleats exhibit little or no use. The metal eyelets on the cleats have some green colored oxidation. Soft supple leather showing slight wear.

The measurements reflect the size of the cleats flushed against one another.
