An original oil on academy board painting, signed to the bottom right hand corner, unfortunately illegibly, the surname seemingly ‘Powers,’ by an unknown artist. The artist has painted a town with a white steeple protruding the most high. The style is both impressionist and cubist, the latter being more pronounced. The color palette is beautifully conceived, and this is a striking piece, that’ll suit the modern home indubitably. Presented in a grey wooden frame with interesting construction. Dated ’49 with signature.
