A pair of 1920s reverse glass Chinese paintings. This pair features a depiction of a seated emperor and empress, in their court finery of embroidered silk robes, and jewels. Completed in an elegant palette of gold, blue, purple, red, brown, white and more. Housed securely in dark brown lacquered frames, with ornate open-work, finial hooks.
