Antique Leather Case

Item Details

An antique leather decorative pouch. The set includes a folding pouch with a handle and an exterior case. The leather has a naive tooled decoration and is tied with leather strapping.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
Sold to enhance and preserve the Institution’s mission-relevant Collections

Condition

leather is dried. seam at bottom of case is splitting, twisted handle is broken.
