1908 Woodrow Wilson Signed Letter

A signed typewritten letter from Woodrow Wilson. This letter is dated May 21st, 1908, during Wilson’s tenure as the president of Princeton University, and is addressed to Houghton, Mifflin & Co. in reply to an inquiry on the scholarly and literary merits of textbook author Dr. Reuben Gold Thwaites. The two-page letter is presented along with a photograph of Wilson matted under glass in a frame with a hanging wire.
Condition
- paper is discolored and wrinkled; mat has a few raised portions; backing is taped around edges and slightly loose along the top; glass would benefit from more thorough cleaning.
