An ornately painted antique Mexican cup. The outside has a central rose on a black background bordered by three decorative bands. The inside has a blue-grey bird on a rust colored background with two decorative stripes.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
Sold to enhance and preserve the Institution’s mission-relevant Collections

minor losses to paint, particularly on border stripes on the outside.
