A pair of antique Mexican fabric figures of peasants. These are completely formed in fabric with the underlying structure unknown, but portray a man carrying a chicken and a woman with a basket on her back. Both war wearing tan clothes with blue checked highlights. Please note conditions.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938

Condition
Both figures are distorted and listing to one side and to the back. man’s arm has separated from sleeve. darkened overall
