Antique Metal Pitcher

Item Details

An antique brass pitcher or teapot with incised arabesque designs. The handleless pitcher has a geometric and floral designs over the entire body with a stippled background. It has flared sections in both the spout and neck.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
Sold to enhance and preserve the Institution’s mission-relevant Collections

Condition

appears to be missing top. base of pitcher is darker color than neck and spout.
