A group of two Spanish Colonial painted wooden platters with colored incised floral arrangements on a black background. One platter is rectangular and the other round. The flowers are painted in red, blue, green and yellow.

Sold to enhance and preserve the Institution’s mission-relevant Collections

Condition

- round plate has split through 80% of arc with metal strip on back for reinforcement.
- some losses to color, particularly on rectangular platter.
