Zapotec Weaving and Coordinating Pillows
Item Details
A hand-knotted Zapotec weaving and coordinating pillows, one having a Turkish style and one having a central or South American style. The hand spun wool weaving depicts a figural sun center with interlocking hooked borders in colors of red, black, green, blue, orange, and white. The pillows are contemporary replicas of traditional patterns and are machine made. The pillows have zippered closures and none of the items are labeled.

- rug textile has dye transferred, the red bleeding into other colors.
