A United Scenic Artist’s mixed media on paper of a fashion illustration by Morles, created in 1949. The piece depicts three models wearing voluminous early 1900s style dresses, rendered with stylized features, graphite delineations, watercolor and gouache applications. Frayed linen fragments are pinned to the composition. Informational inscription in graphite is present to the upper right. The work is stamped ‘United Scenic Artist’s Local USA 829’ signed by the artist, dated, and numbered 512 to the lower right of the composition. Presented behind glass, beneath an off-white mat, housed in a simple wood frame.

- minor wear and dents to frame; toning and stains to mat board; warping, toning, and minor perforations to paper.
