Item Details
A gouache painting on paper titled Old Fashion Walk. Depicted are people wearing late 19th-century clothing. The women wearing protruding bustles and carrying umbrellas. The men appear to be escorting the women through the scene. Some of the outfits are numbered and fabric swatches are present to the bottom edge possibly fabrics that would have been used for the clothing. To the upper left is an inscription in graphite that reads ‘Miss Haute/Old Fashion Show/1885’. An illegible stamp is present to the upper left as well. To the verso, is a handwritten dedication in ink. Presented behind acrylic glass in an off-white mat and wooden frame.

- minor wear is present to the frame; light damage is present to the paper
