A pair of hand colored landscape photographs by Wallace Nutting. Included is a vertical photograph of a quiet tree-lined stream tinted in blue, green and yellowish brown; and a horizontal photograph of dirt lane through an orchard in bloom. Each photograph is mounted on paper and signed W. Nutting to the lower left and framed under glass in black wood frames that are wired for hanging. Wallace Nutting (American 1861 – 1941) was a Congregational minister, artist, photographer and furniture maker. He is best know for his landscape photographs of New England.
