An assortment of three black and white photographs of winter scenes in urban spaces by listed artist Don Werner (American, 1929 – 2010). Each work depicts an urban composition with unique values from dark to light. While not all of the items are signed, they comes directly from the artist’s estate. Please note that these items do not come with a certificate of authentication or provenance. Each work is presented in a white mat without a frame.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.

- some wear around edges of the mats; some warping to the paper; one mat is missing the front mounting.
