A collection of three black and white analog photographs on paper of winter scenes by listed American artist Donald Lewis Werner (1929-2010). Included is a photograph featuring a view of a snow-covered woodland area populated with many defoliated trees receding to the background and frozen walking path. This work is signed in ink to the lower left and titled N.Y.C.. Also included is a vertically-oriented photograph featuring a snow-covered woodland landscape populated with defoliated bushes and trees receding to the distant background. The third photograph features a truncated view of a snow-covered ground with a defoliated few trees and fallen branches visible along the right side of the composition; a person walking through the snow is visible in the background, with his footprints trailing behind. The film sprockets are visible along the edges of each image. None of the works are matted and all remain unframed.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was featured in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
