The work features several digital photos layered over one another creating a colorful abstract scene. Signed and dated in graphite to the lower left of the mat. Presented behind acrylic glass, beneath white matting, housed in a silver-tone frame.
Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
