An antique Chinese spelter metal lion-like figure. The figure is constructed from a cast zinc-iron alloy metal. Dynamically cast, the beast features a flame-like tail, a ferocious visage, and is depicted resting its front paws on a reticulated decorative ball. 1938.0178
