An offset lithograph after Kurz and Allison’s Battle of Atlanta. The dramatic scene depicts Union and Confederate soldiers engaged in battle. In the foreground the death of General James B. McPherson is illustrated. It was originally published in 1888 by Kurz and Allison, who were prominent publishers of chromolithographs in the late 19th century. The print is presented beneath glass with a blue mat and a wooden frame.
