An assortment of three color photographs on paper by listed artist and photographer Don Werner (1929 – 2010). The photographs depict everyday scenes from China including workers repairing a building, steps leading up to a temple, and a landscape next to a body of water. Each mat is signed in graphite to the lower right corner and a red stamp to the lower left corner reads “Donald.” Each photograph is presented in a white mat without frames.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
