A photo offset lithograph after Henris Matisse’s Seated Blue Nude 3. Matisse’s (French, 1869-1954) original piece was composed of paper cut outs and gouache illustrating a seated nude woman in a solid blue hue. It is signed and dated to the plate in the lower right corner. The piece was created for an exclusive issue of the publication Verve. Matisse passed before it was published and the volume became a tribute to the artist. The print is presented beneath glass with a large white mat and thin gray interior mat. It is set within a silver tone frame.
