An antique Chinese spelter metal guardian lion figure. The figure is sculpted from high zinc content metal and displays a guardian lion seated atop a hourglass shaped lotus pedestal. Two paper labels are affixed to the underside, but the figure is otherwise unmarked. 1938.0185
