Antique Chinese Carved Agate Box

An antique Chinese carved agate box. The lidded box has a hand carved lid featuring Daoist bagua, trigrams representing the fundamental principles of reality. The interior is stained vermilion and a small paper reading ‘China’ is affixed to the underside of the lid. It rests on four feet and has a paper label affixed to the underside. 1938.0175
