An original late 20th century oil painting on canvas, signed "Villanova." The painting depicts a matador clad in yellow and green, waving his red muleta at a charging bull. The painting was done in loose, impressionistic strokes that accentuate the motion and energy of the scene. The painting is signed in brown to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with metallic bronze-tone finish and off-white linen lining. A hanging wire is attached to the piece’s verso.
