Rubbing on Wove Paper of Mary and Jesus
Item Details
A rubbing on wove paper. This print depicts the Virgin Mary seated on an ornate throne with baby Jesus on her lap, in brown against a black background. The piece is hand signed by the person who made the rubbing to the lower right, ‘Kristin Lyckberg’. It is presented behind a brown mat, under UV protective glass in a black painted, wood frame with gesso foliage ornamentation. There is a wire hanger to verso.
Condition
- wear on bottom right corner of frame; puncture in backing on right side beneath wire hook.
