Boy Scouts of America “Explorer” Uniform with Toop and Kiondaga Lodge Patches
Item Details
A uniform from the Boy Scouts of America organization. The uniform is composed of a shirt and pants from the Explorer which ran from 1949-1958 and focused on recruiting young men into the organization that was already in their teenage years. The uniform features the Explorers name and symbol patches, the troop patch for Troop 181 which were stationed in Huntingburg Indiana at the time, a patch for the Lincoln Trails District which is the local district for the troop and a patch for the Kiondaga Lodge 422. The sizes for the uniform are present on the interiors of the shirt collar and pant belt ring.
Condition
- moderate wear to some of the patches consistent with uniform use; light surface wear to the uniform; discoloration to the tags.
