A pair of vintage Chinese cinnabar colored lacquered boxes. This pairing includes a large square hinged box, with a painted gold floral scene, featuring two young people to the center talking in a garden. The second looks more South East Asian with Thai style dancers, palm trees, and stylized floral patterns.
