Antique Spanish Colonial Cross with Straw Inlay

An antique Spanish Colonial cross with straw inlay designs. The cross features a sawtooth pattern around the outsides of the post and crossbar with crosses added in the diamond shaped openings. The exposed wood is very darkened.

Condition

- losses to straw inlay.
- some deterioration to the upright at the bottom.
- cross bar is attached with a screw, which appears newer than the rest of the piece.
