An offset lithograph cover of the July 1, 1916 edition of the American magazine The Saturday Evening Post. The cover features the words ‘July 4’ printed in large red text. In front of them stands Uncle Sam holding a long rifle. The magazine was published by Philadelphia’s Curtis Publishing Company. The print is matted in black and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish and a hanging wire.

Condition

- print is yellowed and wrinkled, consistent with age. Scratching across frame.
