With a dark blue cover with an image of a Yankees pitcher, this yearbook contains approximately thirty pages of black and white player photos, career achievements, rosters, and local advertisement. Legendary players such as Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and Whitey Fords are presented. Led by Hall Of Fame manager Whitey Ford, the Yankees won the 1961 World Series by beating the Cincinnati Reds. In 1961, Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth’s single-season record of hitting sixty home runs.
