An original graphite drawing on paper by J.A. Boone. This work depicts sailboats on the ocean water with a clipper in the background. The piece is signed in graphite to the lower right corner. It is presented behind a linen mat, under glass in dark brown wooden frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.

Condition

- to fair; small areas of graphite loss at top of sail; near left-most ship; and some foxing in top left corner; small speck stains in upper right of image; two pinprick holes in lower left of image; droplet stains at lower center and lower right of image; frame has general wear with several nicks and larger scratches around the sides and corners.
