An oil painting on canvas of an abstract composition. This painting, which is rendered with loose, gestural brush strokes, depicts a woman in silhouette kneeling before an impression of foliage in an earthen color palette. The canvas is wrapped over a wooden stretcher which is affixed with a tag from the French magazine Gazette du Bon Ton, which was active from 1912-1925. This painting is unsigned.

- to poor; paint has worn from a few areas; frayed edges of canvas; canvas has been peeled from stretcher; heavy staining and discoloration to canvas verso; affixed tag is stained and torn.
