"In Mentone Harbor", Watercolor by Frank Henry Shapleigh

An original watercolor by well listed American artist, Frank Henry Shapleigh (1842 – 1906) titled In Mentone Harbor, signed in the lower right corner. The watercolor illustrates the harbor and old town in Mentone, Riviera, with moored sailing ship with barrels and figures on the landing, old town village across the bay with tall mountains behind. The painting is housed under glass floating on the mat and presented in a wooden frame with gold painted finish. The painting is titled to the lower right on the mat.
