Maurice Ascalon Mid Century Pal-Bell Menorah
Item Details
A Pal-Bell Jewish Mid Century bronze Menorah, by Israeli artist Maurice Ascalon, (Hebrew: מוריס אשקלון; 1913–2003). This unique work features laurels to either side, and eight stylized oil lamps for the lighting the menorah. The mark at the bottom is inscribed in Hebrew; it reads Pal-Bell (פל-בל), Made in Israel (מיוצר בישראל).
Condition
- patina and metal exposure under verdigris colored paint.
