A hand-colored offset lithograph after Andy Warhol’s watercolor paintings from the children’s book 25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy. This particular print on paper features a yellow cat with bulging, teal eyes staring forward. The person responsible for the tinting has handwritten the title ‘Sam’ and labeled the work with Warhol’s name. This painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting featuring gold tone, moulded lining. This is presented in a gold tone frame featuring moulded scroll motifs to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.
