Early 20th Century Chinese Export Large Brush Pot
Item Details
A very large antique Chinese brush pot, with original Jian Ding (鐘鼎) wax export seal. This particular seal came into use in 1997, and approved the export of Chinese antiques produced post (and in many cases prior) 1911, to ensure that items leaving the country were not considered national treasures. This blue and white piece features a group young boys frolicking about and catching insects.

- crazing; all wear is consistent with age and use.
