A hand knotted Balutch accent rug. The red field has an arabesque floral pattern with lanceolate leaves in a palette of warm tones. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a crenellated pattern on a navy field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Balutch rug made in Afghanistan.
