A hand knotted Oushak area rug. This rug features a central medallion in a palette of earth tones. The olive green field has abrash banding and floral spandrels in a palette of earth tones. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a shah abasi palmette pattern on a yellowish tan field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a hand knotted Oushak rug made in India.
