A hand knotted Shiraz area rug. This rug features a memling guls in a palette of red, green and blue. The red field holds the diamond shaped guls. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette with a geometric design. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Shiraz rug made in Iran.
