A hand knotted Hamadan area rug. The red field has a floral pattern in a palette of red, blue and orange. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a pattern of rosettes and botehs on a blue field. The rug has a natural warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Hamadan rug made in Iran.
