Antique Chinese Bronze Ding Incense Burner

Item Details

An antique Chinese three-legged ding bronze incense burner. The burner has an open bowl shape and with two handles and is bordered with archaistic Chinese characters. The underside is marked with the previous museum inventory number ‘1938.0200’, but is otherwise unmarked.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938
