An antique Japanese silk textile. The textile has a repeating woven pattern of interlocking geometric forms in gray-blue, white, black, and gold tones. The piece is lined with a golden colored silk backing.

Collected in the late 19th and early 20th century and donated to a Private Midwestern Institution in 1938

Consistent with age; wear to fabric; general discoloration; pulling to individual threads; stain present on reverse.
