Two watercolor paintings on paper titled ‘Picnic’ and ‘Summer Play’ by artist Hilda Kaihlanen (1919-2013). Both depict seaside scenes, one featuring a picnic near a beach house and the other featuring swimmers at a rocky beach. Both works are signed by hand near the lower center. Both are presented matted with yellow and white paper under glass in metallic gold tone frames. Both pieces stamped to verso ‘Home Gallery Hilda and Lauri Kaihlanen’.

Condition

both paintings are slightly buckled, light toning to mats, minor wear to frames
