Hand Knotted Qum Area Rug

A hand knotted Qum area rug. The cream field has a lattice pattern of guls and palmettes in a palette of erds, blues and creams. The rug has a compound border in a similar palette. The main border has a pattern that matches the main portion of the rug on a cream field. The rug has a natural cotton bullion warp fringe to either end. The rug has a tag to the reverse indicating it is a Qum rug made in Iran.
