An oil painting on canvas of an abstract figure, titled Girl Washing Her Hair by Joan Abelove (died 2010). The work, using a palette of blue and green, depicts an abstracted view of a young woman, her neck at an angle and her hair flowing away from her face. The piece is signed ‘Abelove’ to the lower left corner, and has a notation to the verso giving the artist’s name and the title. This painting is presented in a slim black and gold tone frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
