Antique .875 Silver Russian Ornament

Item Details

An antique Russian .875 silver egg-shaped ornament, dated 1872. This late 19th century piece features silver construction with a smooth surface and a bezel with two holes to the flattened top. Additionally, there are Russian silver hallmarks to the top including an indiscernible city and assay mark, and the date 1872. This piece is also marked with the 84 zolotniki indicating the .875 silver standard. The approximate weight is 3.245 ozt.
