This impressionistic work, incorporating negative space with thickly applied areas of paint, depicts a bustling river scene, with a pair of figures to the foreground. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right corner, and has a gallery stamp and the notation ‘12-24’ to the verso. This painting is presented in a wood frame with gold tone metal detailing, and a wire to the verso for hanging.
