A signed hand-painted Oaxacan wood carving. Signed Pepe Santiago to its underside, the Mexican Folk Art animal figure is painted a bright red and is adorned with floral and foliate stippled designs in blacks, yellows, purples, teals and blues.

Condition

Fair. Left side of the figurine has a notable crack where the wood is splitting. Tail is loose.
